Musaic selected as Connected Home Speaker Product of the Year
Musaic has been named Connected Home – Speaker Product of the Year in the inaugural IoT Breakthrough Awards. The awards recognise the outstanding Internet of Things technologies, products and companies that have pushed ingenuity and exemplified the best in connected solutions around the world.
Musaic is an award winner in the Connected Home category alongside companies including August Home, Amazon, Samsung, iRobot, Canary, Nest, Philips Lighting, Rachio and Ring.
More than 2000 award nominations from organisations and individuals from 15 different countries were submitted to the awards for consideration. The submissions were judged by an independent panel of experts representing a cross-section of the industry, including journalists, analysts and technology executives.
Musaic wireless speakers have been designed as smart home ready from the outset and work with countless other connected products around the home both natively and via services such as IFTTT.
CEO Matthew Bramble said: “We are very proud and excited to be named Connected Speaker Product of the Year. We set out in 2013 to develop an innovative audio system that would bring wireless multi-room music streaming together with the smart home and this award is a real validation of what we’ve achieved. We have several exciting new integrations coming this year so Musaic is going to get smarter still – watch this space!”
